How do you act when the pressure is on? Someone has said that the uphill grind shows a thoroughbred or a well-bred person of uncommon strength or endurance. Whether or not this might be true for any one but work-life balance is necessary for creating a balanced life. When thinking about what work-life balance means, let us visualize equalizing a see-saw with work on one side and the rest of our life on the other side. And we think that we’re supposed to equalize both sides, focusing on the amount of time spent on each side of the see-saw. As we know it, chronic stress is one of the most common health issues in the workplace and work overload is detrimental to one's health. The biggest problem is that most people think they have no choice, but to finish the gargantuan of workloads in less time to the extent of sacrificing the quality time that should be spent with family, hubby, hobbies, and friends. Prioritizing your well-being is more important. Though setting boundaries is tough since enforcing those means saying no to people and some errands. However, saying no kindly without feeling guilty is a skill that can be developed. Each and every one of us doesn't deserve to be stressed out and under pressure all the time because we deserve a balanced life. The webinar topic was not only helpful but healthful as well, and that the speaker gave ample tips on how to balance work and life situations for a healthy, and happy balanced life. Thank you so much IGP for another learning experience and for organizing a balanced platform that does not only tackle cognitive aspects but also the physical wellbeing. Marvelous!
