Excellent. It is beneficial and informative.
I was just amazed at the two knowledgeable speakers who delivered their presentations about the topic of Teaching Strategies in the New Normal immensely. So true that educators went above and beyond to adapt lessons designed for learning in a physical classroom to an online learning environment and heading towards blending synchronous and asynchronous or bichronous (combination of both) learning. ODL features the teacher as a facilitator, engaging learners’ active participation through the use of various technologies accessed through the internet while they are geographically remote from each other during instruction. An example of this is Radio-based instruction (RBI) that utilizes SLMs converted to radio scripts for RadioBased Instruction. In the delivery of RBI, varying one’s voice from the normal speaking voice will not bring confusion to the learners. The ability of the voice to change from a falling, rising, or complex intonation is a characteristic of a good speaking voice in the RBI. Also, having a wide range of pitch is the ability of a person’s voice to modulate and assume a high or low pitch. The topic is very relevant as this allows for real-time transformation strategies of teaching and learning. Thank you so much IGP for all these "takes" that are so useful in our teaching stint. Splendid!
Thank you to our comprehensive facilitators I learned a lot from you as an innovative teacher should be part of the solution to solve the problem.
