Learning Objectives

Understand the concept of adaptability and its importance in personal and professional development, as well as its role in leadership effectiveness.
Explore the Adaptiotic Table and its three domains - Ability, Character, and Environment - and their relevance in assessing and developing adaptability.
Assess and develop the five elements of the Ability domain: Grit, Mental Flexibility, Mindset, Resilience, and Unlearn.
Examine the Character domain, including the elements of Emotional Intelligence, Empathy, Self-awareness, and Authenticity, and how they contribute.
Investigate the Environment domain, with a focus on the impact of Change, Culture, Support, and Systems, on adaptability and how to navigate these factors
Utilize self-assessment and reflection to identify personal strengths and areas for growth in adaptability across the domains/elements of the Adaptiotic Table
Apply strategies and techniques for enhancing adaptability in real-life personal and professional situations, including managing change and embracing new ideas
Understand the connection between adaptability and effective leadership, and how to apply adaptive leadership to better support/engage with your team
Examine the role of adaptability in fostering a positive and inclusive work culture, and its influence on team performance, collaboration, and innovation.
Develop an ongoing adaptability action plan that integrates learnings from the course and supports continuous personal and professional growth.
