There's no place on earth that is totally free from disaster-causing events. Disaster preparedness becomes a vital and urgent component of any climate change adaptation program. What we can do is to best deal with these events before they occur and need to focus on reducing vulnerability and planning for measures to mitigate natural hazard risks. Mainstreaming DRRM into school curricula aims to raise awareness and provide a better understanding of disaster management for the students, teachers, and communities. So thankful for IGP's initiative in including this topic in the webinar series to achieving greater resilience to disasters. Also, IGP has always provided us with excellent speakers who shared salient points with relevance in these tumultuous times. Thank you so much IGP for continuously feeding our skills with extensive knowledge of ample information. More power from the Philippines!
