Student Ratings & Reviews
The webinar was very relevant nowadays. Online learning has been the fastest-growing segment of teaching modality especially in this time of the pandemic. Our learners take information in through their senses such as seeing, hearing, touching, and moving things around to make sense of them. Thus, learning modalities are how students take in, process, and learn using their senses. Relative to this, teachers like us use methods of differentiation providing chances for students to see, hear, and touch as they learn. With this, we mean that our learning modalities are visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile. To some studies, it is known by the acronym VARK for easy recall: Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing (Tactile), and Kinesthetic. They are also referred to as "learning styles" which implies that each learner has a "style" of learning that should be maximized in all learning situations. Studies claimed that the different teaching modalities do not preclude the possibility that a different measure of effectiveness might produce a different result. However, each modality can contribute to an effective educational experience in a different way. Thanks to the speakers who shared their wisdom and expertise about the topic. Thank you so much IGP for the opportunity of learning. Somebody has said, "Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence." That is why knowledge seekers like us passionately attend IGP's webinar series. Splendid!
