Traditionally, the primary focus of education is acquiring more content knowledge. Today, content is ubiquitous and growing exponentially in every area connected device, and changing constantly. The world is not so much mindful of how much our learners know but of what they can do with what they know. This is one aspect of CBL which ensures that students are developing proficiency in higher-order skills. Competency is the ability to transfer skills to a new context. Therefore, a competency-based learning progression fits in the larger concept of student-centered learning that provides the opportunity for students to apply their learning to the best possible advantage. A huge thank you to our resource speakers who presented their respective topics intellectually. It was such a stimulating and engaging approach that equipped us participants with a wide array of attributes. Hats off to IGP for this initiative. More power and heartfelt thanks.
