Thanx a lot to all the speakers and to IGP Group!!!
Studies claimed that assessment FOR learning is formative which is designed to inform instruction, and if the purpose of a test is to provide data to revise planned instruction, then the only type that's not 'for learning' is 'OF learning which is commonly referred to as summative. Authentic assessments help students analyze what they've learned and applied it to their own experience or real-life situations by not having to memorize facts for a test, so they can use their creativity to show what they've learned. A teacher can be creative with authentic assessments, but h/she has to base the assessments on the teaching standards by developing rubrics that show exactly what the students are learning. Thanks to our resource speakers who incredibly delivered their topics and presented varied examples. Despite the technicality issue, IGP did an awesome job by still pursuing the live quiz competition to the pleasure of the participants which is one of the most awaited parts of the webinar to most of the joiners. Thank you so much IGP for your tenacity. More power to your advocacy! God bless!
